Kevin Garnett “Lost” Ray Allen’s number
KG on contact with Ray Allen: “I don’t have Ray’s number any more.” He did say, “I wish Ray the best.”

It’s tough to be sure whether KG is taking issue with the manner of Ray’s departure or simply focusing on the Celtics new acquisitions, but at least for now Garnett is moving on. Garnett has always been loved by his teammates and despised by opponents, and one thing is clear: KG and Ray aren’t teammates any longer. The next time the two see each other will likely be as rivals on opening night.

Cause he knows that man is a JUDAS… Damn you to hell Heat No 34. A lot of Heat down there. From NBA immortality in basketball heaven, with all the greats. Home of the original dynasty and greatest player of all Bill Russell (11 championships don’t lie)…to NBA hell (possibly the most hated team in NBA history by anyone outside Miami). It’s dark and hell is hot… but CELTIC PRIDE reigns supreme.

Poetic justice. Judas lost his chance to have his jersey in the rafters and now a good friend has ‘lost’ his #. Bring on the Heat…can’t wait. Go Cs…

KG is the most loyal Celtic of all time, only been here 5 years so far and his loyalty is topped by none. Good job KG!

That’s why he is my favorite player in the NBA and will always be, his pride is just unmatchable. I love KG and with those words he demonstrates how much he loves the Celtics.

Bottom line is he’s gonna be another problem to handle when we face them in the playoffs. Judas isn’t going to be a non factor. The Celtics have one of the (if not THE) best perimeter defenses in the league. Courtney Lee and Avery Bradley can easily shut down He Who Will Not Be Named. And Miami doesn’t have the players necessary to execute those elaborate screens to get him open. On the flip side, having to handle the “drive to the hoop and kick out to Ray” scenario will be a difficult one to handle at first.

If Doc would have the players stay on their man and not ‘cheat’ or double-team, as much as they do then those open 3′s will go away and guys like Battier and Miller will not kill us because they’ll be defended, as they should be. Some dbling is necessary, but the Cs did way too much last year and it cost them vs the Heat. We CANNOT leave quality 3-pt shooters wide-open all the time. And “He Who Will Not Be Named’ should have that name changed to He That Will Not Be Called! Go Cs…
