Avery Bradley shot around today in Turkey

RT @boceltics18: @SherrodbCSN @MollyAMcGrath is Avery in Turkey?-> Yes. He actually got up some shots today, too.

Obviously, this doesn’t mean Avery Bradley will miraculously heal in time to shut down Ray Allen ”That dude who shoots real good and used to wear No. 20 for the Celtics” on opening night. The latest estimate for Bradley’s return remains December or January, which only adds to my pleasure that Danny Ainge stocked Boston’s cupboard full of talented guards.

Regardless, it’s nice to know Bradley’s progressing. His two shoulder surgeries this summer were spread out in part so he could literally maintain the ability to feed himself. Shooting jumpers requires the movement of both shoulders, so it’s clear he’s on the path to recovery, although obviously not at his destination yet. We will know he’s fully returned when opposing point guards begin games with tears streaming down their faces and urine stains running down the front of their shorts.

Great news. I bet he’s back in November. He would not be allowed to shoot ever until the doctors allowed it so great progress and hopefully he’ll be good forever more with his shoulders. Go Cs…

Yea technically he’ll prob be cleared to play in late October, early November, but I’m sure they want to give him time to gain strength and get into basketball shape….kind of a minny offseason, as he wasn’t able to work on his game this past offseason because of the surgeries obviously. And I’m sure they want to be overly cautious, especially with the depth they have.
