Celtics 93, Nets 76: A nice stocking stuffer

For Christmas, at least, the Celtics played well. Jared Sullinger solidified himself as my hero, Rajon Rondo continued to show more aggression as a scorer, Gerald Wallace may or may not have wanted to brawl, Deron Williams (and Joe Johnson) used to be a lot better, and I don’t know if I said this before, but Sullinger’s my hero.

I would write more, but I’m going to see Les Miserables with the family. Plus, I still have tears in my eyes from watching It’s A Wonderful Life last night, a King brothers tradition. Which reminds me: Avery Bradley’s kind of like George Bailey right now, getting to see what the Celtics are like without him (and the results, for the most part, despite today’s nice win, haven’t been pretty).

Bradley’s set for a January 2 return. Merry Christmas, everyone. Hee-haw.

While it’s a win, I don’t know how ‘good’ it is. We scored 34 pts and dominated in the 2nd Qtr, but then can manage only 37 pts in the whole 2nd half. We almost blew a 21 pt lead to a team with injuries and playing pretty bad lately (3-7 last 10 games). JS was great, but while JG scored it took until the 4th Qtr for him to get a rebound. PP got 4 rebs in the 2nd Qtr, but only 1 reb in the other three Qtrs. Obviously, the run the the 2nd Qtr (30-16) was critical but we coasted the rest of the game. Why can’t we put 4 solid quarters together? Go Cs…Merry Xmas everyone!

I´m content with the win. JS went on bit of a tear tonight. Wallace going after Garnett was a bit strange. Good game Celtics. Happy holidays.

Im very impressed with this victory Jared Sullinger today brought what was missing on year toughness he was amazing 16 points,7 rebs ,1 steal and a block I watched every minute, props goes to Jeff Green and Jet with a nice bounce back effort with his 3 point shooting,PP had a great all around game and played with alot of swagger RONDOOO played great today his defence was great he frustrated Williams and Wallace.I felt this was our best defensive game of the season and Im extremely happy we won.The next 2 will be very difficult we are going up against the hottest team in the league and deepest with the Los Angeles Clippers and GSTATE back to back let get both but I will accept a win over one I feel if we can win Thursday it would be MASSIVE,plus when the road trip is over we have the young Tony Allen with a better offensive skill set returning AB go get em
