Kevin Garnett and Carmelo Anthony get into verbal altercation near bus (with video from TMZ)

The video above shows the verbal altercation between the Boston Celtics’ Kevin Garnett and the New York Knicks’ Carmelo Anthony.  It is blurry, but confirms previous reports that Mr. Lala waited outside to continue to ‘sort things out’ with Garnett by the Celtics’ team bus.

TMZ continues to have some top notch paparazzi, as they seem to capture videos and obnoxious story lines unparalleled to other news networks (please excuse the loose use of ‘news’).  The Garnett-Melo feud, as predicted by Tom, will be a drawn out narrative, as we sop up story lines that give up glimpses into otherwise hidden character.  This will be a character trait both players will be trying to shed.

This should, except for an announcement on how the league plans on disciplining the two, be the last of this story.  At least until the two teams meet again Jan. 24 in Boston, and all these story lines are drudged up again to hype the match-up.  All cynicism aside, nice to see these two teams have renewed their rivalry, and to a greater extent– the Celtics are returning to their classically Celtic way.

I’m still amazed no suspension has been called for Melo, and Rondo for “bumping” an official was suspended one game… this is so stupid.

Carmelo can get f–ked, how dare he step to a legend like KG. Respect to KG for taking the high road. Lucky Melo didn’t get knocked the f–k out…by Nate Robinson of all people.
