I’ve been at the Hoophall Classic covering some unbelievable high school players all day, so, yeah, I’ll let Doc’s threat stand as the recap for now.

Yikes.

Can’t wait to watch on my DVR!

”We gotta get some guys out of here”. How about start with Coach Rivers. Would not trade Terry at all. Bradley, Rondo and JET should share minutes at PG instead of having 2 small guards at once. He is more consistent at 3 pointers in his career than Courtney Lee. Aside from giving Rivers the ass, I would look to move these players. Bass, Lee, Collins, Wilcox, Green and Barbosa (if his heart ain’t in Boston, let the man fly). How f–king stupid was it sending Fab Melo to the D League? Our only two big men are KG and JC and CW has turned out to be J O Neal 2.0

It’s all effort, this team thinks they can win without playoff effort. They had playoff effort against Indiana and New York then it left.

Yep, Doc going would be great, but we aren’t that lucky. Obviously, we are nowhere near being a championship caliber team so let’s start working on next year. That means JG is gone so put a package together that will get us a quality wing; so PP can come off the bench next year (it’s time). Get FAB back and let him play out the season as our starting center. We aren’t going anywhere with this group as they have no heart, no passion, and none of the will it takes to go far in the playoffs. As an example of this, we were down 15-5 in the first qtr., already out-rebounded 12-5, and our starting frontline was scoreless. RR took more shots than PP or KG and that isn’t a good sign. PP will not attack the rim as he had 0 FTs, and is 4-7 in FTs in the last 3 losses. Seven FTs in 3 gms is pathetic. Live by the jumper and die by the jumper. We are DOA for the season. Go Cs…please DA, start working on next yr!

(haven’t watched the game) I hate to say it by I don’t really believe Rondo’s roster spot should be considered safe. this is his team now, and he hasn’t stepped up for the occasion. after his assist streak was snapped he didn’t seem to bring the same intensity to the court every night. he hasn’t been the only one playing down opponents, sure, but you should lead by example. Rondo’s no alpha dog, and probably never will be. By saying this I’m not denying Doc’s responsibility in assembling the craziest rotations ever (latest example: first you let LB rot on the bench forever, then you give him 2 consecutive starts. wtf?), JG’s inconsistency, Jet never getting into the Celtics system, PP laziness, Bass’ inadequacy as a starting 4, etc. To date, the only Celtics I’m 100% proud of is Sully, with an aging KG distant second (impossible and unfair to judge AB after a handful of games, of course). anyone else should consider himself on the launch pad before the trade deadline.

What kind of leader is Rondo supposed to be? We’ve gotten blown out by shitty teams all year and where’s this New found leadership he’s supposed to have? Where’s the chemistry? Why is barbosa coming off the bench when he’s a former six man of the year? This team is disgraceful and deserves to be blown up. They don’t play with urgency which would be fine but not at this level. I’m honestly down to trade any and everyone on this team.

Man, I couldn’t agree more. Every player should be on notice except Terry (Celtics tat). But no 1, they need to replace the coach.
