I don’t think I have to tell you how crushing this is. Awful, awful news. I don’t have any analysis. And although we will have to discuss next steps at some point, that time isn’t now. Get well, Rondo.

Considering the way this team has been playing and the likelihood that they couldn’t flip the switch playing as they have been, I think this will be good for the Cs. We get to develop a back-up PG and hopefully that will be CL. I would immediately make PP the Sixth Man and let JG start. either he shows he can handle it or we trade him in the off-season. And I would bring FAB back up and let him play out the season getting experience. We’re a lottery team and need to start planning for next season. Go Cs…get well RR, definitely going to miss you!

Good for the Cs? Wow. That’s kinda sick, isn’t it?

Sorry paul, but the reality is we’re seeded 8th and having extreme difficulty winning games, especially vs the sub .500 teams of the league. You think this is a championship caliber team? I don’t and until there are some changes, like PP coming off the bench and FAB as the starting center, this team isn’t going to be the team we all thought it could at the beginning of the year. Jet sucks, JG is inconsistent but showed today why he could be a very good player for us (needs to rebound better though), and JC is worthless. I would like to see us start KG, JG, FAB, AB and CL the rest of the way so we can be a top team next year. I’d rather be a lottery team for some fresh, athletic talent than an 8-seed and going out to Miami. Hope that isn’t too ‘sick’ for you. Go Cs…

Agree with most except I’d have Fab come in for KG and/or Sully and start Sully.

You cant bring PP off the bench. As slow as he has looked and at times as bad as he has played you cant bring him off the bench in favor off JG THERE IS JUST NO WAY.If we were talking Rudy Gay yah but JG cmon you know that suggestion right there is a bad idea I you are just saying that out of frustration.

The reason I like PP off the bench is that JG would get more minutes and either he plays to the level we need and expect or he at least adds value to trade him. I would still have PP on the floor the whole 4th qtr along with JG and KG as they did yesterday. I say experiment and let’s see what might develop. We’ve got nothing to lose at this point. Go Cs…

I get believe me I do but I still think we can get in the playoffs I really do,I feel even with Rondo we could win a title but I feel we if someone a tough out.JG will be getting more minutes now so will LB but in the new CBA what team will take on JG contract. At 3 years and like 30 million left it is just not attractive for anyone to like JG he has to be consistent player and hes not right now hopefully he can be but dont hold your breath

I agree with James, Rondo has been leading this team throughout the horror West Coast trip then the 5 game streak then the 6 game skid. But hey the good thing is those triple doubles. What´s a triple double if you can´t win games. C´s have enough guards on deck to fill the void. This team need to get a couple of good bigs come trade time. The rest will take care of it´s self. Other than that what an epic win against the biggest Judas in NBA history.

AB at point, CL shooting & starting. That is going to be some serious perimeter D. Pierce, as 6th man, is going to dish out more asists as he did yesterday.

Who the hell is hating, paul??? It’s reality and this team needs to change, some not major, because this group, as is, is never going to win us Banner #18. I love RR and feel really bad for him, but this is a blessing in disguise especially if we end up out of the playoffs. Go Cs…

Blessing in disguise is an inartful way to phrase but I agree mostly with your point. I think CL, JT and LB have been lost in the crowded backcourt not knowing just what role they have and not getting the minutes, both duration and role, they may have thought they were suited for. I think with Rajon out that can sort itself out.

I would have preferred a healthy Rondo and trading Terry to sort out the backcourt mess but things are what they are now.

I’d love to trade JT but who is going to take him and his 2+ yrs left? Our problem is that JG, CL and JT have all underperformed so their trade value is, to me, almost nil. Why would any team give any value back for these players? I just don’t see that happening. Go Cs…

I think JG and CL have been pretty good for last few weeks. Much more consistent. I think folks will be surprised how well C’s do without Rondo.

With 5 guards JT was such a liability I’d eat the contract if I had to. What the point of keeping a liability. Now, with Rondo out I think JT may be a better fit with this squad, Barbosa too.

This is terrible news just not good the hope is to get in the playoffs no matter what.Kg came back to play for two more years to try and get a crack at a ring. The only hope is PP and KG play outta there mine and JG plays with consistency.Just another huge blow to what so far been a bad year
