D.J. White to sign with the Boston Celtics after finally receiving his letter of clearance from China

D.J. White has been with the Celtics for three days now, and the organization will finally be signing the 5th year big-man to a 10-day contract after receiving his letter of clearance from China (which apparently has very slow fax machines):

After forward D.J. White's letter of clearance finally arrived from China, he'll sign with Celtics in next 24 hours, sources tell Y! Sports.

We talked a little bit more about him here, but in summation White is a solid offensive big-man with a good mid-range shot. With only one game in the next five days White will have plenty of time to start learning the Celtics’ system and his presence should be an immediate boon for the C’s depleted front-court.

This signing is stupid.I remember this guy hes thrash just give his 2-8 mins to Fab Melo or go get a hustle guy like Amundson someone who plays hard and most importantly can grab rebounds

an undersized “big-man with a good mid-range shot”.
    like we needed another BB.
what about a big man with a good back to the basket game, i.e. what Sully was meant to be?
