Celtics playoffs tickets on sale at 11:00 a.m.

Celtics playoff tickets go on sale today at 11:00 a.m. The tickets start at $12, according to the Celtics, and there is a four-ticket limit. Call 1-800-4NBA-TIX to order, or purchase them online at Celtics.com. (ESPNBoston)

The date and time of Boston’s first-round series won’t be determined until the playoff bracket is set at the conclusion of the 2009-10 season. Barring an utter collapse, the Celtics are pegged to have the third or fourth seed and would host the first two games of their first-round series.

Twelve bucks is a great deal to go see a playoff game, so you better pounce now while you can get them at face value. Once StubHub gets ahold of those things, it’s all over but the crying (and forking over excessive amounts of money).

Also, if anybody wants to buy me a courtside ticket to every game, that would be terrific.

Limited-time only deal for C’s-Lakers, C’s-Magic

Celtics Town’s partner, OptionIt, will be reducing prices for Celtics-Lakers options and Celtics-Magic optionsthrough Thursday, January 21… or until the options are sold out, so hurry up.  For the Lakers game, only 14 options for a combined 40 tickets remain, so I’d hurry up and buy.

What is an option, you ask?

OptionIt isn’t a ticket vendor. What it does is sell “options” to buy tickets. Once you purchase an option, face value tickets are yours, guaranteed, unless you decide to sell your option.  All you have to do is buy them.

OptionIt is a cheap, reliable way to secure face-value tickets.  You might think buying an option and a ticket is more expensive than buying just a ticket, but you’d be wrong.  Because OptionIt allows you to buy face-value tickets for the biggest games of the year, you actually save quite a bit of money.

Look how much it costs for two balcony seats to the Celtics-Lakers game:

 OptionIt Ace Ticket
 $265 $370

So save some money, and go ahead and buy some options for Celtics-Lakers and Celtics-Magic.

Exclusive Celtics-Lakers offer: Three hours only!

As a partner of OptionIt, Celtics Town wanted to break the news that OptionIt has decided to cut its option prices for the Celtics-Lakers game on January 31.  The deal will only last until 3 p.m. EST today (OR until the options are sold out… whatever comes first), so I advise you to go ahead and buy. There are only 25 options left for a combined 69 tickets, so I’d hurry up.
