I once played in a Pro-Am league. My coach hyped our first regular season game up as “the most important game of our lives” but one of the best players on our team couldn’t help it: He started dying laughing. Here he was, an NBA D-League player, and this stupid coach was telling him a summer league Pro-Am game was the most important game of his life. Not laughing yet? Shit, I guess you had to be there.
