I wanted to get back in shape for a few reasons: 1) So I won’t have a heart attack at the age of 23, 2) so I will be tough to defend in pickup games, and 3) so I can look at myself in the mirror without wanting to violently vomit all over myself. Now, I have a fourth reason. I need to be one of the 64 finalists at “King of the Rock” next year. I’m trying to get a free trip to Alcatraz and a chance to win $10,000.

Isiah “Clutch” Bowman, this year’s winner, is my idol. He got to kick it with Rajon Rondo, play a one-on-one basketball tournament, visit Alcatraz fo’ free, and win ten large in the process. Talk about one hell of a day.

Okay, gotta go guys. It’s workout time. Only 364 more days until next year’s King of the Rock.
